The Program


In the last 45 years, more than 135,000 customers have taken delivery of their new Mercedes-Benz on the European Delivery Program at the "Kundencenter" (left). That statistic alone makes a statement about how much our clients enjoy this special way of getting their new Mercedes-Benz and pick it up at the factory in Sindelfingen, Germany, a suburb of Stuttgart. Whenever you plan a European vacation, make it even more enjoyable and drive around in your own Mercedes-Benz. You order your custom-made car a few months in advance and specify the pick-up date. Your new personalized Mercedes-Benz will be waiting for you when you arrive in Germany.

The savings on the car price will easily pay for your trip!!

First of all, you save the $875 U.S. Destination and Delivery charge. Secondly, your discount from the factory is seven (7%) percent on most new models (check with me for model eligibility!). That brings your total savings to about 9% off the MSRP. Another saving to you is the fact that you do not have to rent a car on your trip around Europe; that could amount to hundreds of dollars or even more. Other features and benefits: 15 days of road insurance are included, with no deductible. We give you taxi vouchers between airport, hotel and the factory, a complimentary 65 Euro voucher for a  sumptuous lunch at the factory. Last but not least, you get one night deluxe accommodations at a First-Class hotel you choose from a list of 18 fabulous hotels around  Europe (sometimes during special promotions we offer you even two free hotel nights!); and finally - return shipment of your car to the USA and final delivery to you at the dealership of your choice, depending the city where you live.

To order your new Mercedes-Benz, I normally (not always) need about 2 months lead-time, your passport, and the required $2,000 deposit. If you need a car sooner, check with me, as there may be "stock cars" available right now at the factory. If you haven't already done so, the fun part begins now, when you get to plan your detailed itinerary with your personal travel consultant, Herbert Haemmer.  I will advise you on the sights and sounds of my homeland, and help you plan your trip from start to finish, including booking of airline and train reservations and the subsequent purchase of these tickets, if needed. Another benefit is the 2-for-1 airfare on Lufthansa German Airlines, offered by Mercedes-Benz USA, which provides for a free airline ticket to your travel companion, who pays only the airport security fees. The excitement builds as you go along to plan the details of your vacation. Along the way, there will be questions, and I will be there for you to answer all of them.

One question that always comes up is: "Can I lease or finance my new car, even though I am picking it up in Germany?" The answer, of course is, yes you can.  Another concern: "Is my new car legal in the U.S.?"  Indeed it is, and no, you do not have to convert it to American specs, as it fully complies with U.S. laws and regulations.
